CR400AF-C EMU Train was born in April 2020, belongs to the CR400AF Smart edition series, 4M4T in marshalling, the hole length is 209.06 m, has a maximum design speed of 350 km/h, and 435 km/h in the experiment

CR400AF-C动车组是在CR400AF基础上,为京雄城际铁路设计的新一代8辆编组的高速动车组,采用全新的外观和内饰设计以及智能化的管理与自动驾驶。该车采用全新的商务舱布局,同时一等座采用电动调节靠背,增加电动腿托和电控玻璃,舒适性提升。列车于2018年启动设计,2019年10月开始总装,12月开始涂装。

2020年02月,CR400AF-C智能动车组首次曝光。

2020年03月,整车下线并进入调试阶段。

2020年04月15日,CR400AF-C-0209抵达环铁进行测试。

2020年05月,CR400AF-C-0209参加商合杭高铁(合湖段)联调联试并进行型式试验。

2020年06月08日,CR400AF-C-0209结束了在商合杭高铁的试验返回四方厂。

2020年09月,司机登乘门且采用新式商务布局的CR400AF-C-0210亮相。

2020年11月12日,CR400AF-C-2214(0210更名)与CR400AF-C-0209投入京雄城际铁路大兴机场至雄安段联调联试。

除了加装司机室门之外,2214(0210)与0209的头型和涂装都有些许的区别,飘带涂装也有显著差异。

CR400AF-C-0209试验完毕后返厂更换了量产版的车头部分,同样增加了司机室门并更名为CR400AF-Z-2253。

2021年07月08日至2022年02月期间CR400AF-C-2214在京雄城际铁路运营,运行C2702/3次列车。

2022年03月起CR400AF-C-2214参与济郑高铁郑州至濮阳段联调联试,随后参与郑渝高铁巴东至万州段联调联试。

2022年04月12日,CR400AF-C-2214与CR400BF-J-0511在郑渝高铁巴东至万州段进行了时速403km/h(相对速度806km/h)隧道内交会试验。

2022年04月21日,CR400AF-C-2214与CR400BF-J-0511在济郑高铁河南浚县境内时成功进行了时速435 km/h(相对速度870 km/h)交会试验,交会时间仅0.86秒,为CR450动车组研制技术条件参数的试验打下基础。

2023年03月起,重新回归京雄城际运营,运营车次增加,每日运行4个往返。
