CRH2G (Technology Enhancement) EMU Train was born in January 2016, belongs to the CRH2-NG series, 4M4T in marshalling, the hole length is 201.4 m, has a maximum design speed of 250 km/h, and 275 km/h in the experiment

CRH2G技术提升型由中车南京浦镇车辆有限公司生产,搭载全新设计的动力平台,提高了列车性能。

2015年11月,中车南京浦镇车辆有限公司开始试制CRH2G。

2017年09月,中车南京浦镇车辆有限公司生产的首列CRH2G-0001下线,并前往北京铁道科学院(环铁)进行测试。

2018年02月,换装全新动力系统的CRH2G-0001正式开始测试。

CRH2G-0001将YQ365电机恢复默认功率,可满足坡度25-30‰的线路按设计速度运营。

2018年11月27日,中国铁路总公司进行样车采购(2018-TDDC-3-250GH),CRH2G技术提升型包含在内,该车目前配属昆明局集团,并更名为CRH2G-4501。

经过试验后,该车已恢复默认状态,且可以与其他CRH2G重联运行。

Existing problems and deficiencies

CRH2-NG系列虽然对外观与内饰进行了大幅度更新,但并未对列车网络进行升级,使用的依然是源自CRH2的落后网络,不仅列车检修维护困难,还需要使用(日本进口的寿命约为5年的内置不可充电且无法更换电池的)有源NFC卡片写入包括列车车次数据、广播信息以及显示屏内容的列车运行数据,卡片寿命到期后需要更换,且部分列车因年代久远,相关车载装置也存在问题,另外该系统与列车网络深度绑定,通信协议落后,且使用光纤传输,更换系统较为困难,导致列车无法更换车次信息,部分列车只能长期固定交路,限制了列车运行范围。过分相时辅助变流器断电,空调、换气系统和空压机等会停止工作,重新启动时会发出额外的噪音。

备用制动也采用电制动(DC100V),当受电弓无法取电且蓄电池无电的情况下无法缓解制动,只能使用同型号同批次列车以固定方向救援(00车-01车),当使用不同型号动车组或机车救援时,只能全列手动缓解,限速5 km/h。
