CRH380CL动车组是CRH380BL系列高速动车组的姊妹车型,列车使用全新设计的头型,采用基于日立技术的永济牵引系统。CRH380CL设计为耐高寒抗风沙车型,但是并未经相关测试,也未曾在高寒地区运用。该车累计生产25组,折合50标准组。
