和谐号CRH380BG统型动车组，2013年新购置动车组中根据中国铁路总公司的要求采用根据运营经验和乘客乘坐需求，在CRH380BG型动车组技术平台上，对列车的车型、定员、旅客服务设施、司机操作设施、列车的主要性能进行统一而设计出来的动车组的设计而衍生出车型。

与原车型的区别

统型CRH380BG，总长度由200.67 m增加到了202.95 m，车内空间更大，统型CRH380BG设有带商务座的一等座车（ZYS）1辆、带商务座的二等座车（ZES）1辆、二等座车（ZE）5辆和带酒吧的二等座车（ZEC）1辆，其中一等座采用2+2方式布置，二等座为2+3布置，商务座为1+2布置。列车商务座定员10人，一等座定员28人，二等座定员518人，全列定员556人。

统型CRH380BG与非统型最显著的差距就是车门与LED显示屏的位置，非统型CRH380BG车门全部靠近车厢连接处，而统型CRH380BG的LED显示屏将车门和车厢连接处分开。
