CIT400A高速综合检测车以CRH380A/L新一代高速列车技术平台为基础,历时8个月研制成功,采用7M1T编组,设计时速为400 km/h。该车安装了ATP、信号参数、无线场强、弓网关系、轨道几何形态、动力学及加速度检测的设备和线路监视系统,主要负责时速250—350公里级的高速铁路的轨道几何状态、动力学、接触网、信号、ATP、无线通信、线路环境等的周期性检测和新建线路的全方位检测。

2011年02月22日,CRH400A 001于在青岛下线。

2011年03月01日,CRH400A 001出厂。

2011年03月03日,CRH380A 001起奔赴京沪高铁对线路状态进行一系列检测,以确保京沪高速铁路的安全可靠运营。

2014年,根据相关文件对名称及车号进行调整,CRH380A 001更名为CRH380AJ-0201。

2014年,随着新线路逐步开通,对于综合检测车的需求越来越多,增购了两组CRH380AJ(0202/0203)。

2015年,两组CRH380AJ在即将开通的赣龙线(4.4 m线间距,有砟,80㎡隧道截面积)展开线间距和阻塞比对动车组空气动力学性能影响的分析,以310 km/h的速度进行隧道内交会试验。

2017年07月,CRH380AJ在京沪高铁进行提速350 km/h相关试验。

CRH380AJ-0201也是首批LKJ15S实验列车之一。

注:CRH380AJ-0202、0203与CRH380AJ-0201差异较大,不能重联运行,CRH380AJ-0202、0203可以重联运行。

CRH380AJ-0202、0203,01、08车为设备车,02车为轨道、动力学、综合检测车,03车为通信、信号检测车,04车为接触网检测车,05车为会议车,06车为餐车,07车为卧铺车。
