NDJ3 EMU Train was born in June 2008, belongs to the NZJ series, 2M7T in marshalling, the hole length is 225.18 m, has a maximum design speed of 160 km/h, and 180 km/h in the experiment

NDJ3型是一款电传动内燃动车组,结合NZJ1内燃动车组及DF11G机车的制造经验,为满足北京市郊铁路实际的需求而设计制造的一款动车组列车,动力车由中车戚墅堰机车有限公司设计制造,拖车由中车南京浦镇车辆有限公司设计制造,最高速度160 km/h。动力车主体结构于NZJ1-7001类似,使用两台12V280ZJ型12缸柴油机,额定功率2900 kW,采用JF211发电机+ZD106电动机,采用A1A-A1A轴式,轴重21 t。

发展历程

铁道部为满足2008年北京奥运带来游客增加而需要开行的北京至八达岭至间旅游列车的要求,订造了四组NDJ3型内燃动车组,编号NDJ3 0001-0004。这四组动车组,包括一等座车、二等座车和餐车,其中一等座车、二等座车可旋转方向。

2008年08月06日开始服务北京城铁S2线。

2009年春运期间,其中一列“和谐长城号”曾短暂服务于石家庄—北京西—天津—秦皇岛的临时城际特快列车。

2009年07月30日,其中一列(0004)从北京铁路局转配到沈阳铁路局,开始服务于新开通的沈抚城际铁路,来往沈阳至抚顺北4327/28次、鞍山—抚顺北4329/30次、铁岭—抚顺北4372/3 4374/1次,2010年12月05日已停运,0004回归北京铁路局,开行S2线列车。此时所有NDJ3均配属北京铁路局怀柔北机务段南口车间。行走北京市郊铁路S2线,来往北京北-延庆、沙城之间。

2011年07月01日起,北京S2线执行北京城市轨道交通票价标准,不再对号入座,因此取消了各席别的旋转功能,并拆除了小桌板。

2017年04月,北京S5线采购2组NDJ3动车组列车。

2017年09月,北京S2线增购3组NDJ3动车组列车。

新一代动车组采用城际布局,全部为二等座车,不设置餐车。载客量大大增加。

2017年11月15日,NDJ3-0005/0006交付,用于开通北京S5怀柔—密云线路。

由于列车技术较为落后,排放较高,而且后续京张高铁通车后S2线客流将减少,加之京通线即将电气化,将不再需要内燃动车组,因此NDJ3仅交付至0007号车,后两组未制造。
