全新尝试

2009年,由于青岛四方也承担了新一代时速380公里级别高速动车组(CRH380A)的研发任务,为了预先获得CRH380A型动车组新头型的空气动力效能和实车试验数据,原铁道部决定将CRH2C-2150作为CRH380A的试验实体样车,改为使用下一代的新头型。CRH2C-2150性能指标均与其他CRH2C(二阶段)相同。

发展历程

2010年04月12日,青岛四方召开新一代高速列车新头型发布会,宣布4月底完成试验车下线。

这列动车组(CRH2C-2150)于2010年04月底在青岛下线,车身仅标示为“试验车 CRH380A”。

2010年04月26日,CRH2C-2150试验动车组被运送至中国国家铁道试验中心北京环行铁道,安装各种试验设备并布线。

2010年05月04日,CRH2C-2150试验动车组由北京出发经京广铁路赴郑州。

2010年05月11日起,试验车开始于郑西客运专线进行时速160公里以下调试试验,06月07日开始正式高速试验,通常每天往返郑州和灵宝西共三个来回,试验一直持续至8月。

2010年09月初,CRH2C-2150试验动车组转往武广客运专线继续进行试验工作。

2010年11月,按铁道部统一安排,CRH2C-2150正式配属上海铁路局,作为综合检测列车。

2014年07月01日,根据《铁总运(2014)150号》文件,所有CRH动车组的编号均作出了调整,CRH2C(380A头型)型动车组的编号方式发生变化:原编号为CRH2-150C改为CRH2C-2150。
