KCIC400AF EMU Train was born in June 2021, belongs to the CR400AF series, 4M4T in marshalling, the hole length is 208.95 m, has a maximum design speed of 350 km/h, and 385 km/h in the experiment

2017年,在中国铁路总公司的主导下,作为承包商联合体成员的中车青岛四方股份公司,确定为印度尼西亚雅万高铁提供11列8辆编组的时速350公里高速动车组及1列高速综合检测列车。该项目全部采用中国高铁技术和装备,借鉴中国高铁丰富的建设和运营管理经验,是中国高铁标准走出去的第一单,标志着中国铁路装备从“产品+技术+服务”走出去,进一步升级到“产品+技术+服务+标准”走出去。

该车基于CR400AF成熟技术,针对热带气候进行优化,更加适应当地的环境。

2021年10月底,该车实车首次曝光。

2022年08月21日,首组列车在青岛港顺利完成装船,通过海运发往印尼。

2022年09月01日,经过11天的海上运输,装载着我国出口印尼用于雅万高铁的高速动车组和综合检测列车的船在雅加达港靠岸,后续通过公路运输运往万隆德卡鲁尔动车段。这是雅万高铁首批发运列车,标志着我国高铁列车首次出口国外。剩余列车将在2023年初之前全部运抵。

2023年09月07日,雅万高速铁路开通运营,KCIC400AF投入运营。 列车车组和车厢编号按照印尼铁路规范,与中国不同。餐车型号KM1,其他车辆型号K1,车厢号包括型号、编号、年份和序号,车厢编号第一组为K1 1 22 01 - K1 1 22 02 - K1 1 22 03 - K1 1 22 04 - KM1 1 22 01 - K1 1 22 05 - K1 1 22 06 - K1 1 22 07,第二组为K1 1 22 08 - K1 2 22 09 - K1 2 22 10 - K1 2 22 11 - KM1 2 22 05 - K1 2 22 12 - K1 2 22 13 - K1 2 22 14,在以后以此类推。
