交付与配属

2021年10月10日,机车在中车大连机车车辆有限公司下线并回送至青岛进行总装。

2021年10月31日,CR200J3-4004(FXD3-J0207)、4005(FXD3-J0208)两组列车出厂,并于2021年11月04日抵达昆明。

2021年12月03日,正式投入运营。

中老铁路(玉磨铁路)。2023年4月起,因老挝境内列车数量不足,除担当跨境列车之外,还担当部分老挝国内车次的运营。
