CRH380B系列动车组,是由唐山机车车辆有限公司和长春轨道客车股份有限公司在CRH3C型动车组的基础上,通过自主创新研制出的中国第二代CRH动车组。2011年01月09日,8M4T编组的CRH380BL在京沪高铁徐州至蚌埠区间创造了487.3 km/h的最高试验速度,目前(2023)年仍是中国铁路速度记录保持者,2011年01月13日CRH380BL系列首次载客运营。自2010年开始至2017年停产,累计生产663组,其中CRH380BG 66组,CRH380B 353组,CRH380BG统型 91组,CRH380BJ 1组,CRH380BJ-A 1组,CRH380BL 151组,折合814标准组,是CRH动车组中产量最高的系列。
